Le Concert Spirituel was founded in 1987 by Hervé Niquet, and has since become one of the most important baroque ensembles, known for its lively performances of both well-known and less familiar repertoire.

The Flemish Radio Choir is a much loved regular partner to the ensemble, thanks in part to the link between them in the person of Hervé Niquet. The mutual trust between the two ensembles results year after year in sold out concerts all over France!
For this season Hervé Niquet has chosen works by Händel and Bach – two great masters of the baroque whose works will have found a worthy venue in the beautiful Théâtre des Champs-Elysées.
