150J Schoenberg: odes in film

On the occasion of Arnold Schoenberg's 150th birthday, the music world is preparing to honour his legacy. So is Brussels Philharmonic: in October, we will present two concerts featuring works by the Austro-Hungarian-American composer.

Fleeing the Nazi regime, Schoenberg ended up in Los Angeles in the 1930s. However, he will never work there for Hollywood, although his oeuvre is the basis for some extraordinary soundtracks of the 21st century.
