British viola player Lawrence Power is an avid chamber musician and in great demand as a concert soloist. He is a great advocate of contemporary music and over the years has built up an impressive contemporary repertoire. For instance, composers such as Olga Neuwirth and Mark-Anthony Turnage wrote new works for him, and he created Prayer by Leroy Anderson and Hymn to Night by Alexander Goehr, among others.
