Wim Henderickx's new Timpani Concerto stands alongside Beethoven's 3rd Symphony: Wim's favourite symphony, from which he drew lasting inspiration. With Close Encounters, you take a look behind the scenes: you follow a rehearsal from a very special place - the stalles on the stage of Studio 4.

What is rehearsed, how it will go, who you will meet: we can't tell you yet - the rehearsal process is unpredictable. But that you will enter the heart of our symphonic world, that's for sure!
