Interview: Fran & Joste

A small group of young people set off.
With heads full of questions and hearts full of longings.
“You are the future!” people say. “Make the most of it!” people say. In Anton Bruckner’s day, God gave meaning to life. But what do young people still believe in today?

Author Maud Vanhauwaert, composer Frederik Neyrinck, filmmaker Bas Van Hoeck and the Vlaams Radiokoor, I SOLISTI and LARF! are joining forces for a brand-new production focusing on religion and the search for meaning, and what these themes mean for the younger generations.

A conversation with two of the six young people – Joste Dewael (16) and Fran De Roo (16) – and with the two creators, Vanhauwaert and Neyrinck, offers a glimpse into the creative process behind *In What We Trust*. Read the interview below and get a glimpse of what we can expect.
