Poetry list: Revelations

As a tribute to composer Wim Henderickx, who died unexpectedly in December 2022, we are revisiting Revelations: a multimedia production that starts from the impressive visions of the 13th-century poet and mystic Hadewijch. In the tradition of medieval Christian mysticism, Hadewijch describes in her Visions a pure love affair with the divine Other, detached from self-interest and personal motives; passion is the key word here.
