The Radio Choir invites you

On 25 May, we will bring our ‘Eternity in an Hour’ concert series to a festive close at Flagey. For this occasion, we will be welcoming some exceptional amateur choirs onto the stage — singers who, just like us, believe in the power of the voice.

Together with the choir ‘ & ’ Stem, we have selected ensembles to perform the supporting programme, featuring music by Eric Whitacre: sounds that breathe, vibrate and connect. And when the final notes ring out, more than two hundred voices will join together to sing ‘Sing Gently’ — a gentle closing chord, carried by many.

An evening in which voices find one another, and together become something greater than themselves. These seven ensembles share their voices; we share their story — meet the choirs helping to bring this evening to life below.
