The Flemish Radio Choir presents the Pietà concert series: music centred on the iconic depiction of the Virgin Mary with her deceased son Jesus in her lap. A raw and intense image. It evokes grief and loss, but also a mother’s primal love for her child, and the strength and redemption that lie within it.
