10 million views on YouTube for our recording of Barber's Agnus Dei!

Thank you, thanks, thank you, arigatô, thanks, thanks, dziękuję, faleminderit, gracias, grazie, hvala, kiitos, obrigado, paldies, shukran, takk, ...!

Agnus Dei goes viral! The YouTube video is a live recording from 2015 of the Vlaams Radiokoor singing Samuel Barber's poignant vocal work. It is Barber's own choral arrangement of his Adagio for Strings, music that has moved and inspired generations, and has been covered by DJs and bands such as Armin Van Buuren, Tiësto, William Orbit, Lucas & Steve en Bastille.

"I am still impressed by the fact that on average 5000 people from all over the world tune in to the video each day. Many people reach out to us and let us know that our recording brings them support and comfort, particularly after the loss of a loved one. We are very grateful to be able to offer that to the listeners thanks to this moving and beautiful music," says Bart Van Reyn, music director of the Vlaams Radiokoor.
