Personal data

Brussels Philharmonic VZW processes and uses personal data for 3 reasons:

1. Use of our services (legally: contractual basis)

For the purchase of tickets for our concerts in Flagey and Concertgebouw Brugge, we work together with our partners (www.flagey.be and www.concertgebouw.be) and we ask you to provide personal data. These data are used in order to be able to provide our services. A ticket for a performance is personal and data are necessary for:

  • the delivery of the tickets
  • access control
  • determination of rates
  • service mailing before and/or after your visit
  • contact in the event of a change of programme or cancellation

The data are saved on secure servers belonging to our ticketing providers (www.ticketmatic.be for concerts in Flagey & www.ticketsbrugge.be for the concerts in Concertgebouw Brugge) or their suppliers. We will not combine these data with other personal data that we dispose of.

2. Communication (legally: legitimate interest)

When you send an e-mail or letter to us, it is possible that we will keep these messages. Sometimes we ask you for your personal data which are relevant for the situation in question. This makes it possible to process your questions and respond to your request. The data are stored on our own secure servers. We will not combine these data with any other personal data that we possess.

3. Marketing (legally: consent)

Brussels Philharmonic VZW also makes use of personal data for marketing purposes. We regularly send information about our activities: via our monthly e-news, and once per season by post. Anyone is free to subscribe and unsubscribe to these messages.

  • E-news (e-mail): maximum twice a month. Via the link below in each mailing you can easily subscribe and unsubscribe to this. You are not automatically subscribed to our e-news on the basis of your purchases.
  • Season brochure: Vlaams Radiokoor sends an annual season brochure by post, if you have signed up for this.

Managing/deleting your data and communication preferences

You have the right to inspect, change or delete all personal information that we have received from you. To exercise these rights, just contact us: secretariaat@brusselsphilharmonic.be.

Moreover, at the bottom of each mailing you will find the possibility to adapt your data and to manage your registration for the various newsletters. You will also find there the possibility to unsubscribe to all e-mails. In that event, you will also receive no further service mails or other e-mails.

Third parties

Brussels Philharmonic VZW does not transfer any personal data to other parties, unless this is necessary for achieving the above-described purposes.
