Season kick-off: Ravel 150

Happy birthday, Maurice!

March 7, 1875: Maurice Ravel is born in Ciboure, France. 150 years later, he is still one of the preeminent French composers of the 20th century.

We kick off season 25-26 on September 26 with his majestic Daphnis et Chloé at Flagey, described by Igor Stravinsky as “not only one of Ravel's best works but also one of the finest works of French music."
